Solid app but widget no longer works

This is a solid app. The data contained is very detailed and the match updates are timely (within seconds of scoring and other major events during the match).

However, since the update that enhanced the app for the iPhone Plus models, the widget no longer works. Im using iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 10 and cannot get the widget to display no matter how many times I remove and re-add it. Ive even tried re-installing the app. The iPad widget looks fine, though.
